Island Approach - Attempt 1

This piece was an early island landscape I did to practice for a Christmas gift I was making for my mom.

This was the first island I attempted to do on 11/25/2021, and there are things about this one I really like and a few things I thought I could do better on a second attempt.

In particular I thought I could make a more realistic looking island mountain range.

I should mention I did not have a reference up when drawing this, I just glanced at a few pictures of islands to get some ideas and then let my imagination take it from there. 

This did not wind up being the final product but it inspired me to do more landscapes.
